Burglar’s bottle job

A burglar who raided a house with vodka bottle disguised as a gun has been jailed for eight years. Joshua Alexander, 27, attempted to rob a flat with a cloth covered glass vodka bottle along with two accomplices at Marchant Street, New Cross on May 20.
