Druggies in bogus kidnap plot

A civil servant was fleeced by a couple after he was tricked into thinking they had been kidnapped, a court heard. Emma Stansfield, 34, convinced the vulnerable victim, in his 50s, to help secure her release after claiming she had been abducted by criminals.
