Man ‘hurled homophobic abuse’ at Eddie Izzard

Comedian Eddie Izzard was abused in the street after refusing to give passers-by a ride in his classic 1958 Volkswagen Beetle, a court heard today (tuess). Jamie Penny, 24, threatened to ‘do’ the 54-year-old celebrity’s house after Izzard turned down the chance to give him and a friend a lift in central London.
