Waste management firm in the clear over engineer’s death

A waste management company was cleared of health and safety failings today (mon) after an engineer was crushed to death at a recycling site. Russell Hartley, 48, was killed while helping to move a piece of machinery at Lea Riverside recycling site near Bow in east London on 24 February 2020.
