Driver denies trafficking plot

A lorry driver has denied being part of a human trafficking plot linked to the deaths of 39 Vietnamese migrants in a refrigerated trailer. Christopher Kennedy, 23, appeared in the dock at the Old Bailey while Maurice ‘Mo’ Robinson, 25, who has admitted immigration offences, was present on video-link from HMP Belmarsh. Robinson was arrested shortly after the bodies of 31 men and eight women were discovered in the back of his lorry on an industrial estate in Grays, Essex….
