Three men denied plotting to rob a security van delivering cash to the Royal National Institute for the Blind when they appeared at the Old Bailey.
The trio are accused of planning the raid in Alperton, north London in October last year, which was thwarted after a police surveillance operation.
In the dock were Sean Bradish, 33, Tony Hall, 36, and Stephen Wall, 28, who are all charged with involvement in the same offence.
All three men spoke only to confirm their names and plead not guilty to one charge of conspiracy to rob between January 1 and October 21 last year.
Bradish and Hall also denied three other charges, of possessing two sawn-off shotguns, and a semi-automatic pistol with intent to commit robbery.
Wall pleaded not guilty to one charge of possessing a shotgun with intent.
Bradish, of Lymescote Gardens, Sutton; Hall, of Minett Avenue, Harlesden; and Wall, of Haig Road, Hillingdon, Middlesex, were remanded in custody.
The trial will begin on July 9 and is expected to last three weeks.
