Security guard shared ‘race war’ videos
A Polish security guard was caught sharing Facebook videos calling for a race war against ‘monster’ immigrants while hoarding knives and grenades at home, a court heard.
Pawel Golaszewski, 34, allegedly said: ‘How can I be a terrorist? I’m Polish’ after he was arrested on suspicion of terror offences in Abbey Road, Leeds on 23 February this year.
When police searched the car they found a copy of ‘The Anarchist’s Cookbook’ including a chapter entitled ‘Terrorising McDonalds’ along with a pair of chain-linked handcuffs in the glovebox and a Lenovo laptop.
Officers then searched his home and found a large sheathed knife, two smaller knives and two smoke grenades had been hidden in the living room, jurors heard.
Golaszewski allegedly called for a ‘great war’ in which ‘proud whites’ would march against ‘monster’ immigrants.
Describing some of the content, Dan Pawson-Pounds, prosecuting, said: ‘On 4 January 2015 a video entitled ‘behead’ shows an unidentified male blindfolded on his knees and two unidentified males who proceed to chop his head off with a machete.
‘On 20 August 2018 Golazewski shared a video called ‘The end of London’.
‘This is a video produced by Stefan Molyneux where he states that London like Paris is dying and he attributes this to a blind acceptance of diversity and mass migration that leads to unsustainable crime rates, massive rises in violent crimes like child rape child grooming and child exploitation by gangs of what he calls ‘third worlders’ that the police will not investigate due to fear of being called racist.
‘On 4 August 2017, Golaszewski shared a Facebook post which states there is a great war which will start in Poland which is full of proud white people who have marches against Islam and immigration.’
The court heard Golaszewski also shared videos linking the migrant crisis to a ‘political’ scheme between George Soros and Isis following to create a ‘flood’ of immigrants in Europe.
‘[The shared video] titled ‘The truth about refugees’ argues that those coming to Europe are not refugees but economic migrants who pay smugglers £1,500 to get them into Europe.
‘It argues that it is a crime being funded by George Soros and also Isis.
‘The video goes on to say how the flood of migrants is unsustainable, that towns in Sicily are no longer Italian but North African and Middle Eastern and that migrants are responsible for a huge amount of crime in Europe, in particular rapes and murders.’
Golaszewski, of Wensleydale Mews, Armely, Leeds, denies six counts of possessing documents or recordings likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing to commit an act of terrorism.
