Drink driver killed palace guard

A drunk driver who killed a guard outside Hampton Court Palace has been jailed for five-and-a-half years. Kenneth Beckett, 38, was speeding and almost twice the legal drink-drive limit when he careered over the pavement in Hampton Court Road and crashed into Jonathan Treleaven.
