Afghan nationals accused of people trafficking face extradition

Three Afghan nationals suspected of trafficking thousands of migrants into the UK are facing extradition to Belgium. Saifur Rahman Ahmedzai, 23, Ziarmal Khan, 24, and Zeeshan Bangash, 20, were arrested last month after a Belgian judge recently jailed them in their absence. Ahmedzai appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court while Bangash was on a prison video-link. Both men were assisted by Afghan interpreters.
