Accused cop killer remanded in custody

An alleged killer who fled to Pakistan after the murder of PC Sharon Beshenivsky 18 years ago has appeared at the Old Bailey. Piran Ditta Khan, 75, is accused of murdering PC Beshenivsky, 38, on 18 November 2005, when she was shot dead, while responding to a robbery at Universal Travel in Bradford.
