Accused honour killer calls witness a ‘lying bitch’

A builder has denied kidnapping, raping and murdering a teenage Muslim make-up artist in a suspected honour killing. Mujahid Arshid, 33, allegedly slit Celine Dookhran’s throat after she was tasered, bound and gagged and taken to a £1.5m property on Coombe Lane West, Kingston-on-Thames. Arshid is also accused of raping a 21-year-old woman and slashing her throat – but she survived and managed to escape the property on 19 July.
