Accused killer remanded in custody

An alleged killer accused of stabbing a man to death and attempting to murder a teenager just hours later was remanded in custody. Mohamed Elmi, 37, was knifed in Romilly Street, Soho, central London, in the early hours of 3 March this year. Hours later, police were called to another incident in University Street, Bloomsbury, after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed. Mr Elmi died from his injuries three days later but the teenager survived.
