Accused knifeman faces court over murder of elderly scooter rider

An alleged knifeman charged with stabbing 87-year-old Thomas O’Halloran to death on his mobility scooter was remanded in custody today (fri). Mr O’Halloran was found with stab wounds in Greenford, west London, at 4.06pm on Tuesday. The grandfather, originally from Co Clare, Ireland, was described as an ’87-year-old grandfather known locally in the community’ at Willesden Magistrates’ Court.
