Accused of strangling his mother in the bath

A man accused of killing his 85-year-old mother who was found dead in a bathtub has appeared in court. Mark Herman, 54, is charged with murdering Loretta Herman at their home in Rushden Gardens, Ilford, Essex, on April 9.
