Accused serial rapist dodges the dock

Accused rapist and kidnapper Joseph McCann refused again to appear in court to enter pleas to a series of sexual assaults across Britain. McCann, 34, carried out the attacks in Cheshire, Manchester, Lancashire, London and Hertfordshire between 20 April and 5 May, it is claimed.
