‘Albania killer’ to battle extradition

One of Albania’s most wanted murderers appeared in court today (tues) after spending 22 years on the run. Defrim Iseberi, 46, was number two on a top-ten list of the most wanted fugitives in the UK recently compiled by Albanian authorities. He was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment after gunning down a security guard at the Gjallica Hotel in Kukes in 1997 but fled to England and went into hiding.
