Army chef ‘had explosive ingredients’
A British Army chef has denied possessing an explosive substance and an ‘improvised homemade cannon’. Mark Broadhurst, 27, based at Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire, was arrested on 25 September 2024 following a Counter Terrorism police investigation. His room at Bourlon Barracks in Catterick and home address in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, where he lives with his parents, were searched during the investigation.
