Assault charges dropped

The former fiancee of Prince Charles’s godson has been cleared of assaulting her mother after the prosecution dropped the charge. Emma Chaing, 31, was said to have slapped her mother Marla Chaing across the face when she refused to give her £200 at their £4.6m family home in Chelsea on 16 July.
