Bent property developer built a portfolio on fraud
A property developer who built up a multi-million-pound portfolio by swindling £2.3million in bogus mortgages has been jailed for four-and-a-half years. Raymond Andrews, 38, inflated his income to secure loans and buy homes in London, Hertfordshire and Essex. He also submitted bogus claims to enter into hire purchase agreements for two BMW M3 convertibles worth £88,000.
