Builder spared jail over bogus attack claim


A builder who beat himself up so he could falsely accuse a rival of hitting him in the testicles and punching him in the face has escaped jail. Matthew Boone, 48, dialled 999 after having a row with Bradley Siffleet, telling police he had been viciously assaulted outside his home in Ashford, Middlesex.
