Burglars beaten off with a hot water bottle

A burglar who was beaten with a hot water bottle when he interputed a couple’s romantic night in has been jailed for seven years. Muhamud Ismail, 23, and accomplices broke into Jack Armstrong’s apartment in Richmond, south London as he settled down to watch a film with his girlfriend.
