Bus driver Shadrach Akinkugbe to stand trial for pedestrian death

A bus driver accused of causing the death of a pedestrian in east London will stand trial in March 2025. Shadrach Akinkugbe, 61, hit Joe Carroll on Fairfield Road, Bow on 13 August 2022. Akinkugbe appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court today and denied causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
