  A businessman passed off horsemeat as beef during the nationwide scandal, a court heard. Andronicos Sideras, 55, was allegedly part of a ring of dodgy dealers who conspired to sell meat containing horse DNA between January and October 2012. Burger King and supermarket giant Tesco were among the places found to have equine flesh extracts in their products.
