Businessmen ‘tried to export rifle scopes’

Two businessmen tried to export night vision rifle scopes to India and Pakistan, a court heard. Terence Garlick, 47, is charged with being knowingly concerned in the attempted export of 73 ATN Mars rifle scopes to India in October 2018. Christopher Melling, 40, faces a similar charge in relation to the attempted export of telescopic sights from the UAE to Pakistan.
