Car attack cop appears in court

  A police officer filmed attacking a suspect’s car during a stop and search appeared in court today (thurs) charged with assault and criminal damage. PC Joshua Savage, 27, hammered the Ford Fiesta’s windscreen and began to saw it open with a lock knife during the angry confrontation in Camden, north London. A colleague watched Savage barking ‘get out of the car’ and ‘you’re not allowed to drive it’ while the driver, Leon Fontana, filmed him from inside the vehicle….
