Chairman of celebrity endorsed company accused of resort scam
The chairman of a celebrity endorsed company appeared in court accused of fraudulently selling thousands of ‘off-plan’ properties at Caribbean holiday resorts. David Ames, 65, chairman of the Harlequin Group of companies, is charged with three counts of fraud by abuse of position between January 2010 and June 2015.
