Charity manager ‘had his fingers in the till’

A charity manager accused of stealing from a disability organisation has appeared in court. Craig Ryan, 34, is charged with five counts of theft from care provider Avenues. Avenues provide assisted living support for people with learning difficulties and injuries in south England, posting revenues of £28million. Ryan is alleged to have stolen a total of £888 from his employer on five separate occasions between January and March in 2016. He is accused of stealing £388 in two separate offences…
