Chinese ‘cryptocurrency rinser’ appears in court
A Chinese woman accused of helping launder cryptocurrency from one of the world’s biggest ever investment frauds appeared in court today (tues). Yadi Zhang, 46, also known as Zhimin Qian, is accused of acquiring, using or possessing cryptocurrency, from October 2017 until April 2024. Zhang appeared at Southwark Crown Court via video-link from HMP Bronzefield aided by a Mandarin interpreter.
