Cop carried out searches when ‘drunk and off duty’

A police officer carried out searches on members of the public while off-duty and ‘heavily intoxicated’, a court heard. PC Oliver Myers, 27, is said to have improperly exercised the powers and privileges of a constable in Camden on 21 May 2022. PC Myers is also accused of assaulting Kevin Hayes and Natalie Burgess, occasioning them actual bodily harm, on the same date.
