Cop faces jail for killing moped rider Christopher De Carvalho Guedes

A Met Police officer is facing jail after he sped through a red light and killed a moped rider while racing to a emergency call. PC Ian Brotherton, 32, was driving a police van with blue lights flashing when he hit Christopher De Carvalho Guedes, 26, on Southbury Road, Enfield, on 12 October 2023.
