Cop shot in police station died from single chest wound

Sergeant Matt Ratana died from a gunshot wound to chest after a handcuffed suspect smuggled a revolver into a police station, an inquest heard. Sgt Ratana, 54, was just two months away from retiring when he was gunned down inside Croydon Custody Centre.
