Dad killer sent to hospital

A son who attacked and killed his dad in a ‘tragic incident’ will be detained at hospital indefinitely. Courtnay Bamford, 37, brutally assaulted John Bamford, 77, in Aylesbury Road, Wendover, Bucks on 6 April last year. The elderly victim sustained multiple blunt force injuries in a sustained attack and was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem established the cause of death as multiple injuries.
