Diamond thieves jailed

Two diamond thieves who plotted to steal £1m worth of gems in a brazen distraction heist at a City jewellers’ have been jailed for more than two years. Wheelman Nicolae Bodea, 36, and lookout Aurelian Buza, 32, were arrested following the theft at bespoke antique retailers Silver Vaults, in Chancery Lane.
