Driver left woman with life threatening injuries

A driver fled the scene after leaving a woman with life-threatening injuries, a court heard. Abdulrazzaq Massaquoi, 25, claims he lost consciousness before mounting the pavement and ploughing into Asma Saeed, 42, on Edgware Road, west London. Ms Saeed was rushed to St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, with lacerations to her spleen and liver. She also suffered a collapsed right lung after the collision on 20 August 2023. Massaquoi drove away from the scene and the car was later found abandoned….
