Duck killer convicted

A duck killer snapped a Mallard’s neck with his bare hands after luring the bird with breadcrumbs. Police were called after a horrified walker saw Robert Muir, 49, to the banks of the Thames at Richmond. Officers recovered CCTV footage of Muir enticing the Mallard duck over with food on two occasions before grabbing it and breaking its neck.
