Eco protesters ‘tampered with tanker brakes’

A group of climate activists, including a gold medal winning canoeist tampered with the brakes of a Shell oil tanker, a court heard. Olympic champion Etienne Derek Stott, 43, was among six Extinction Rebellion protesters who climbed on top of the truck holding a banner which said ‘end fossil filth’.
