Ex boyfriend cleared of blinding dog

An ex-boyfriend accused of partially blinding his former partner’s dog has been cleared he claimed the dog was stabbed accidentally. John Dunn, 55, allegedly told Natalie Osborne he would cut her throat with a 12inch blade and said: ‘I’m going to kill you and your dog.’ Dunn then stabbed Ms Osborne’s dog in the eye when she tried to defend her, Southwark Crown Court heard.
