Ex-Labour councillor faces court over ‘Westminster honey trap plot’
A former Labour councillor charged with blackmail after an investigation into an alleged Westminster honeytrap has appeared in court. Oliver Steadman, 28, is said to have made unwarranted demands for the contact telephone numbers of up to 12 individuals. Steadman allegedly sent WhatsApp messages to five people within Westminster circles.
