Ex-Palace player caught with £1.5m haul of crystal meth

A former professional footballer is facing jail for drugs supply after one of the biggest ever seizures of crystal meth in the UK. Former Crystal Palace academy player Michael Boateng, 33, was caught with 19.6kg of the Breaking Drug, worth up to £1.5m after police raided his home on Valentine’s Day.
