Ex Windsor Castle verger preyed on two boys

A former verger to the Queen is facing jail after he admitted sexually assaulting two teenage boys. Clive McCleester, 77, who served at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle and supervised visitors to the Queen Mother’s tomb, was branded a ‘vile predator.’ He abused one boy at a school in Hampshire on the day of the boy’s grandmother’s funeral when McCleester was working as a welfare officer.
