Fake rape jury should have been warned on sexual stereotypes
A woman who put a man in jail by making false rape allegations claimed she was unfairly convicted because the jury were not warned about sexual ‘stereotypes.’ Jemma Beale, 27, said she was a lesbian with ‘no desire’ for sex with men and her ‘appalling lies’ led to Mahad Cassim serving two years in jail.
