Female detective denies assaulting two women

A female Met Police detective has denied four counts of sexual assault against two women. Det Con Deborah Charnley, 42, of Lambeth, denies the assaults which are said to have taken place while off-duty on 9 December 2022. Charnley appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court wearing a black suit and blue shirt. She spoke to confirm her name, address, date of birth and to indicate not guilty pleas.
