First trial kicks off as coronavirus lockdown eases

The first Old Bailey trial to be held since the Covid-19 emergency began today (mon) with the jury being sworn in to try a motorist accused of killing a biker. Seven men and five women will try Mohammed Tahir who is accused of causing death by careless driving after he collided with motorcyclist Thomas Bailey on Battersea Bridge.
