Flight attendant tried to pocket fortune in medical insurance scam

A former BA flight attendant who invented medical emergencies to make bogus travel insurance claims has been spared jail. Cormac McCollum, 26, tried to fleece Direct Line Group out of more than £20,000 by claiming payouts for medical treatment in the USA while on holiday.
