Former pub landlord ‘sent Covid loan cash to ISIS’

A former pub landlord accused of sending the proceeds of Covid-19 bounce back loans to ISIS will stand trial in November this year, a court heard today (tues). Tarek Namouz, 42, allegedly sent thousands of pounds to the Islamic terrorist group between 30 November 2020 and 25 May 2021. Namouz appeared at the Old Bailey today (tues) via video link from HMP Wandsworth wearing a tan crew neck jumper and spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth….
