Former rugby star up for phone fraud
A former professional rugby player is facing trial for a massive mobile phone fraud. Second-row forward Alexander Karonias played for London Scottish between 2008 and 2014 until being forced to retire by back injury problems. The 31-year-old appeared at Southwark Crown Court today (weds) with six others to deny being part of a fraud which phone companies have claimed cost them millions.
