Gallery assistant ‘swindled £19k’

A West End art gallery assistant processed fake refunds to fleece her employer out of £19,000, a court heard. Victoria Hegarty, 34, allegedly transferred the cash to her personal bank account while working as an administration accounts assistant at Zari Gallery in Fitzrovia.
