Gang rivalry behind Islington street murder

A 23-year-old man was stabbed to death while armed with a baseball bat, a court heard. Ibrahim Elkadmiri, 30, is accused of stabbing Yahye Ahmed in Axminster Road, Islington, last week. Police were called to the road at 11.39am on 30 August and despite the efforts of emergency services Mr Ahmed was pronounced dead at the scene.
