Gritter lorry driver caused horror crash

  A gritter lorry driver who ran over and killed a motorcyclist while doing an illegal U-turn on a major road is facing jail. Peter Wright, 46, ignored two ‘No U-turn’ signs and failed to slow down before swinging his truck into a gap in the central reservation opposite a police station.
