  A radiographer at Guernsey’s scandal-hit Princess Elizabeth Hospital cheated in an examination, then made a series of blunders at work, a tribunal heard. Catherine Birnie wrongly told a patient her pregnancy had failed and did not spot that a baby with Down’s Syndrome had two holes in its heart. The Health and Care Professionals Council heard Birnie passed a training course to take scans checking for birth defects in pregnant women by submitting an image she hadn’t taken herself….
